Templates were introduced in version 1.2 of EZNote. These can be extremely useful if you find yourself using a certain block of text over and over again while creating or editing notes from within EZNote.
Here is what you’d have to do without templates in EZNote:
1) Move to a note containing the text you wish to copy
2) select the text and copy it
3) move back to the note you were creating or editing
4) select the spot to paste the text on the clipboard
5) select paste from the edit menu.
Here is how to do it with a template:
1) select the spot to place the text from the template in the note you are editing
2) select the templates’ name from the “Insert Template” menu.
That’s it! All the text from the template you selected will be placed into the note you are editing.
Setting up Templates:
The category named “◊Templates” will be created the first time you run EZNote automatically. Once you do that, any notes you create and place in the ◊Templates category, will be available from the “Insert Templates” menu (which is in the “File” menu).
